Our Story
My name is Pia, and together with my son Aiden, we are a family from Norway who made the decision to move to Spain to dedicate our lives to helping dogs in need.
What started as a deep love for animals turned into a commitment to give as many dogs as possible a second chance. Leaving our home country wasn’t a small step, but we knew we wanted to build something meaningful - a place where dogs could feel safe, cared for, and valued.
Today, our sanctuary in the mountains near Granada is home to dogs with all kinds of stories. Every day, we work to provide them with care, stability, and the opportunity to find loving homes.
This isn’t just what we do - it’s our life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to give vulnerable dogs a real chance at a better life. At our sanctuary, we take in both dogs who are likely to find homes quickly and those who are often overlooked - such as older dogs or those living with conditions like Leishmaniasis.
By caring for dogs with different needs, we aim to give every dog the opportunity they deserve: safety, proper medical care, and the chance to find a loving forever home. For some, that journey is short; for others, it may take longer. But every dog that comes to us is valued, protected, and given the best life we can provide while they wait for the right family
